Call of Duty: Black Ops is a first-person shooter developed by Treyarch and published by Activision, released by the United States and Europe November 9, 2010.Officially announced April 30, 2010, the game is theseventh chapter of Call of Duty series and the fourth game of the series to be developed by Treyarch after Call of Duty 2: Big Red One, Call of Duty 3 and Call of Duty: World at War. It is the sequel to Call of Duty: World at War.It was first pre-order available only on PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. Activision has confirmed after publication for the Wii and Nintendo DS title.
In May 2009 , Activision claimed to be looking for licensing with regard to the Vietnam War , this has led to speculation that the next episode of Call of Duty would be held in Vietnam. The campaign is full of moments of cinematic script.One of them is a bullet time effect during the level “Victor Charlie”, activated when the player is the last enemy fire to a team of Viet Cong.
