Double good news for the Torchlight Runic Games, theAction-RPG style Diablo exclusive to PC platform, according to what is reported by Kotaku, it is now also a commercial success with half a million copies sold, all in digital delivery.

Another major American blog, Joystiq, puts us in fact aware of the acquisition of a majority of Runic studies by the Chinese publisher Perfect World, for a total of 8.4 million dollars.

Given the interest of the Perfect World MMOG market is assumed that all the new funds will be spent in the previously announced version of “massively multiplayer” Torchlight of the same, still waiting to be shown in public.
